Villa with own pool, quiet, excellent service by very friendly staff. Nice common pool area, good location
Not value for money, bathroom was dirty, floors were dirty, bathtub very small, very uncomfortable couches. Did not supply drinking water and wifi. For $289 per night, I did expect slot more. Smelly couches linen. Was not deluxe by any means, if I paid $150 per night, would have been appropriate.

I like it very much, but I think that the cleaning of the rooms can better and a point is the bed. The bed likes a boxspring, but isn't a boxspring.

The best feature was the private villa with our own, well-sized plunge pool. We loved the grounds, the cafe and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The shower did not drain properly, a minor issue. It would not be good to have a family with noisy children in the villa beside you. Any noise from adjoining villas is very audible.

very friendly and helpful staff, and we also got free upgrade room for our stay, which the room is bigger than our original booking. 15 mins by walk to the beach, shopping, supermarket and restaurant are easy to reach. 15 mins by taxi to kuta area.

It was our first time to bali and Sun Island Villas was amazing, the room the private pool the facilities and most importantly the staff!! I have stayed at many 5 star hotels and the service was no where near close to that of the staff at Sun Island they were there to cater to any requirements, and the serenty of the complex after leaving the crazy noise of the streets you would not not you were on a bustling street, the villas were completely quiet. If you want to relax and unwind, stay at Sun Island Villas!!!
The only thing I would fault ...if i had to was the grouting in the shower and toilet may have needed some bleach, but honestly again I have stayed at hotels that cost twice the price in Perth and the grouting was worse!!

Having our own pool in our villa courtyard. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Not enough lighting over vanity. Need to put in magnifying mirrors for people with vision problems.

It was too difficult to find anything good about this hotel except for its location.
1) Unprofessional staff, 2) they 'upgraded' us to a two bedroom villa (btw the second bedroom was locked!) only to kick us out of it on the next day as the other guests were arriving. At one point it seemed we were not going to be provided with our 1BDroom villa due to maintenance issues 3) both villas were not clean, poor tiles 4) mosquitos everywhere, 5) bad food.
